Scottsdale, Arizona, is a lovely desert city located in Maricopa County. It’s called “The West’s Most Western Town,” and it’s sometimes known as “[the] desert version of Miami’s South Beach” due to its partying atmosphere and abundance of hotels. Scottsdale is considered one of the best cities in which to live because of its excellent health care, recreational activities, and overall quality of life.
Scottsdale has over 242,000 people, so it’s large enough for you to have a diversity of potential friends, yet small enough to not feel overwhelming. Since this is “The West’s Most Western Town,” there is one event that honors its rich Western history: the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show.
